Project Narrative

Trio Dona Zefa was born in Campinas and takes its name in honor of the mother of Danilo Ramalho, the group's vocalist, and Murilo Ramalho, its zabumba player. The project quickly crossed the borders of its hometown, conquered São Paulo's capital and expanded its presence to the Southeast and other regions of Brazil.

With strong roots in traditional forró, Trio Dona Zefa carries the energy of the stage, the strength of popular culture and a musical identity built with authenticity, road experience and affection.

Partnership with Eterna

Eterna works with Trio Dona Zefa to expand its audiovisual presence and strengthen new release possibilities. The work opens space for music videos, versions, collaborations and content that connect forró tradition to a contemporary visual language.
